Sitting in another chair

Lady Gaga is non other than a girl of my age who just happened to reach fame the past years. Converting the Britney Spears & Nsync pop music to a machine of sticky and elaborated hits. Her impact is not only in terms of music but also in terms of fashion trends. She is an innovator in all she does. Sometimes people may see her as an outrageous outfitter, but it is true that she serves as inspiration for designers and she is the envie of older pop stars who at her age wouldnt have not even half of her "fanbase". She has received a huge support in the gay community to who she feels very engaged to, this probably due to her bisexuality. Lady Gaga, some people say the new Madonna, will continue rocking our worlds with her awesome music. Here is one of my favorites, Telephone ft Beyonce. Enjoy fellas!

So after almost 3 years in Madrid working for the same company, I have just realized that the reason why we are working a shift from 8 to 15 is that allegedly during the other seasons we work 15 additional minutes that compensate the non working hours of the summer. Curious thing though, because this country I believe is the only one with this kind of schedule in Europe. The excuse for this, spanish people say, is the high temperatures. Which I must agree and disagree. Spain is not the hottest place I have lived in, but in this moment having a "summer shift" is very convenient.

Me encanta pensar que hay gente que lee esto. Sobre todo gente de aquella peq uena isla que deje hace ya casi 3 a nos . Me encanta pensar que puedo disfrutar de muchas cosas, de pequenos detalles que hacen mas grande nuestra vida. Porque a pesar de la distancia siguen siendo mi familia. Me encanta pensar que puedo disfrutar de mi trabajo, unas veces mas que otras. Pero que hasta el momento no he dejado de crecer a nivel profesional y de aprender tantas cosas que probablemente tambien me hubieran gustado compartir con mis amigas en Santo Domingo. Aquellas que sencillamente decidieron que tener una familia era su plan de vida o que quedarse en aquella tierra era su felicidad. The morning welcomed us with a not so bright day. A "banana" pancake for breakfast, the option of checking the emails with a very limited internet access, so it went on and off a few times. I had the opportunity to post to all of you saying how great I was spending my vacations. We left our dirty clothes so that the hotel crew did our laundry. And after doing all of that, we head off to the beach! So we rented 4 bicycles direction Hoi An beach. The road was very rustic, chaos in the transportation (bikes everywhere and cars that didnt indicate where they were heading). Despite of that, there were many beautiful views you wouldnt imagine. So we left the bikes there with their locks, and as in any other beach, there were people trying to sell us an umbrella to sit next to. But in the end, the 4 of us only wanted to lay down in the sand,...

Author: I really want this post to go well, because this was my favorite city among the ones we visited. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did. We arrived to Hoi An hours passed afternoon. The taxi driver left us at our hotel. A hotel that we didnt reserve and that we happen to find in the ' Lonely Planet ' that my tripmates carried. We explained to the receptionist that we were 4 and that we needed either 2 double bedrooms or a bedroom for 4. And as a joke the receptionist says that there was 1 left bedroom for the 4 of us at a very interesting price! We all agreed. This city is definitely made out for girls. It was full of flea markets, stores with all sort of things, specially with clothes & shoes made in 24hrs or less with your measures, and tons of jewelry made out of coconuts... We left our bags in the room, changed clothes and went for a walk. At the hotel, they explained us how to get to the main streets, the markets, the RESTAURANTS.. and gave us a map with indicati...

--- Written on Monday --- Sitting in another chair. This time the seat of a train which has Málaga as final destination for a business meeting. At the end of every fiscal year (fy) in the company I work for we have the annual "Off-site" meeting. It is nothing more than going out of the office for 1 or 2 days and reviewing the achievements of the past fy and sharing with your other colleagues your future challenges for the fy.
