So I keep reading...

If you are like me, maybe you were not someone that used to read frequently...
Let's say that since I used to have my car all I wanted to do was to get from one point to another...
BUT!
When you come to a country like Spain, you realize that people actually READ...
Read, not because they are forced to (like in high school...), but because they are really into reading..

Free newspapers are very common during the morning.. although public transportation is always full.. and it could get very uncomfortable for the ones beside you..
Anyway, not only newspapers are the favorite reading, you can also find some drama, love stories, suspense, ... depending on the bestseller of the moment...
The funny thing is that... everybody READS.. literally... i mean.. students, old people, metal people, "pijas" girls (in Spain, called to girls with a very fine sense of fashion), normal people... is a massive thing...


Now, I'm curious to know if this is a common thing all over Europe... Is this an international wave, that i happen to have not crossed before?

La pregunta del millón: A dónde van esos conocimientos adquiridos por este hábito tan saludable?! De qué sirve leer si eso no nos convierte en personas más sabias, prudentes, cultas, etc.?

I believe I havent mentioned that our trip was mainly through the vietnamese coast. This was because we didnt want to catch any illness and because we were hunting the beaches ;) After the great days spent in Hoi An, my expectations went higher. But after something that has been really really good "you bleed just to know your alive". Train to Nha Trang Yes, this is the exact picture of how our train looked like. We were in the top of the beds with our bags and with the same last clothes we wore in Hoi An that day. Comments in the "Lonely Planet" guide said that those top beds are "against" thieves. A recomendation if you ever plan to take a train in which you plan to stay for the night, MAKE RESERVATIONS! This was, for me, by far the worst experience of this trip. Moving, all the people moving

When I think of the word "moving", a song comes to my mind ( Moving - Macaco). This "green peace" song was thought to be a call to action for all of those who felt some sort of compromise with the environment. Yes, because we all know that the trend initiated a few years from now is to show off our "cruel intentions" to help this cause. Anyway, the reason why this song comes to my mind is that I am in process of moving! And I truly and deeply hate moving. It is like the 2 faces of a coin (Heads or trails). In one side the excitement of going to a new place, having even more independence, choosing your roomates, have a decoration of your taste, new neighbors, etc & in the other side the turn off of picking up everything, boxes, cleaning, stress... Thank God I will be just crossing the street!!! From the 16 to the 15.

"Tripmates"

One day my co-worker (H.C.) said that a friend of hers was organizing a trip to some exotic and far off destination. She asked to the people around her if someone was interested, and at that moment I didn't pay much attention to her what she was saying. At the time I was in an emotional state of mind, I looked over the proposed trip itinerary and said "Im in!". 2 strangers, my co-worker and I ventured off on a 17 day trip to Vietnam , Shanghai and Hong Kong , even though some other destinations were considered, such as Malaysia, many cities in China, Thailand and Macau.
