Un jour, un "post", une photo: The Cranberries


A white coat, a pair of white tennis and a voice sweet but "slightly" out of tune started the night. Dolores O'Riordan was on stage, singing for the first time after 7 years out.

Walking from one side to the other side of the "Vista Alegre" stage, dancing like to make a fool of herself, saying over and over again "Gracias" to the audience.
An hour and a half were just not enough for those who had high expectations from this concert (myself included).
Songs like "Animal Instinct", "Promises", "Linger", "Zombie", "Salvation"... were the most chanted ones. We definitely missed "Just my Imagination".

The scenography was not as impressive as the ones that I have seen not long ago in the "Depeche Mode's concert" or in the "The Killers" one. But still, this group didnt need that in order to make people enjoy its music and its simpleness.

I believe I havent mentioned that our trip was mainly through the vietnamese coast. This was because we didnt want to catch any illness and because we were hunting the beaches ;) After the great days spent in Hoi An, my expectations went higher. But after something that has been really really good "you bleed just to know your alive". Train to Nha Trang Yes, this is the exact picture of how our train looked like. We were in the top of the beds with our bags and with the same last clothes we wore in Hoi An that day. Comments in the "Lonely Planet" guide said that those top beds are "against" thieves. A recomendation if you ever plan to take a train in which you plan to stay for the night, MAKE RESERVATIONS! This was, for me, by far the worst experience of this trip. Moving, all the people moving

When I think of the word "moving", a song comes to my mind ( Moving - Macaco). This "green peace" song was thought to be a call to action for all of those who felt some sort of compromise with the environment. Yes, because we all know that the trend initiated a few years from now is to show off our "cruel intentions" to help this cause. Anyway, the reason why this song comes to my mind is that I am in process of moving! And I truly and deeply hate moving. It is like the 2 faces of a coin (Heads or trails). In one side the excitement of going to a new place, having even more independence, choosing your roomates, have a decoration of your taste, new neighbors, etc & in the other side the turn off of picking up everything, boxes, cleaning, stress... Thank God I will be just crossing the street!!! From the 16 to the 15.

Shanghai

I forgot to mention in my previous post that the tiny little bag of A.L. didnt arrive to Shanghai. So he had to manage with a t shirt a few days... because he never bought anything.... and yes.. the 3 of us, suffered the consequences.. Since we arrived late at night, we found just one open and "decent" (sarcastically) place to have dinner. The "exquisite" food was: noodles , soup of noodles and chicken... So after having dinner, we decided to go back to the hotel and ask to the people there for places in which we could have a drink or dance.. The girl wrote us some directions in a piece of paper (in chinese and "english"). Wow, that place in the paper was so hard to find. We went forward and backward just to get there, although in the process we discovered many cool views of Shanghai at night.
