What about North America and the Caribbean?

If I tell you.... Did you know Mexico is in Central America? What would you say?
If I tell you... Do you know where South America start? What would you say?
If I tell you... Do you know where the Dominican Republic is? Is it in South America? What would you say? ...

You might think.. its just a simple question with a simple answer, dont you? The truth is that a lot of people that are living in Europe or United States are not aware of the country distribution among continents..
And since I have had people speaking in front of me saying whatever they think, I have thought it was a great idea to create a post with this valuable information...

Mexico.With an extension of 2M Km2. Its not the generator of the porcine influenza (Spanish Source:http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gripe_porcina).
Geographic location according to continents... North America. (Spanish Source:http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A9xico).

Dominican Republic.


Very different from Mexico, the Dominican Republic has 48.442 Km2. It shares island with Haiti (an independent country). Both are considered to be part of what some people call Caribbean.

Said that... please never EVER say... that either Mexico nor the Dominican Republic are in South America...
Not even to me nor to yourself...

I believe I havent mentioned that our trip was mainly through the vietnamese coast. This was because we didnt want to catch any illness and because we were hunting the beaches ;) After the great days spent in Hoi An, my expectations went higher. But after something that has been really really good "you bleed just to know your alive". Train to Nha Trang Yes, this is the exact picture of how our train looked like. We were in the top of the beds with our bags and with the same last clothes we wore in Hoi An that day. Comments in the "Lonely Planet" guide said that those top beds are "against" thieves. A recomendation if you ever plan to take a train in which you plan to stay for the night, MAKE RESERVATIONS! This was, for me, by far the worst experience of this trip. Moving, all the people moving

When I think of the word "moving", a song comes to my mind ( Moving - Macaco). This "green peace" song was thought to be a call to action for all of those who felt some sort of compromise with the environment. Yes, because we all know that the trend initiated a few years from now is to show off our "cruel intentions" to help this cause. Anyway, the reason why this song comes to my mind is that I am in process of moving! And I truly and deeply hate moving. It is like the 2 faces of a coin (Heads or trails). In one side the excitement of going to a new place, having even more independence, choosing your roomates, have a decoration of your taste, new neighbors, etc & in the other side the turn off of picking up everything, boxes, cleaning, stress... Thank God I will be just crossing the street!!! From the 16 to the 15.

Shanghai

I forgot to mention in my previous post that the tiny little bag of A.L. didnt arrive to Shanghai. So he had to manage with a t shirt a few days... because he never bought anything.... and yes.. the 3 of us, suffered the consequences.. Since we arrived late at night, we found just one open and "decent" (sarcastically) place to have dinner. The "exquisite" food was: noodles , soup of noodles and chicken... So after having dinner, we decided to go back to the hotel and ask to the people there for places in which we could have a drink or dance.. The girl wrote us some directions in a piece of paper (in chinese and "english"). Wow, that place in the paper was so hard to find. We went forward and backward just to get there, although in the process we discovered many cool views of Shanghai at night.
